The Farm House

Located in the north of England, this beautiful 18th Century farmhouse is host to some stunning period features. Our client purchased this property as a passion project and we were honoured to be given the opportunity of partnering with them in seeing their dreams become reality. It was important to work in harmony with the period features of the property, whilst also creating a space that is light, functional and adaptable to modern life. When creating the fireplace, we were able to use original rustic bricks from another area of the property to create a truly stunning exposed brick fireplace. Contrasting this with the neutral interior that surrounds the hearth makes the fireplace the centrepiece of the room. Balancing the space with two beautiful arched alcoves either side of the fireplace softens the otherwise rectilinear design features and makes this formal room truly feel like home.
